Compos Mentis' Raucus Auction
September 9 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Compos Mentis, a day center and organic farm dedicated to helping young adults who are struggling with mental illness, is holding a fun fundraising event at the farm on
September 9.

Compos Mentis' Raucous Auction takes place from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Compos Mentis farm on Garrett Road, just off Route 89. In addition to the raucous auction, conducted by Peggy Haine of Cash & Caring Fundraising Auctions, there'll also be a silent auction. Refreshments will be provided by the Falls Tavern, Sheldrake Point Winery, and the Creamery, and entertainment by pianist Roz Feinstein and singer-songwriter Jan Nigro.

As of press time, here's a partial list of items to be auctioned off:
Works of art by Daniel McPheeters, Suzy Larkin, Laurel Hecht, Daphne Sola, Ellie Jones, Helena Cooper, Dan Finlay, William Deats, Nancy Ridenour, Stan Bowman, Mary Kelsey, and George Rhoads; books on spiritual topics from Snow Lion Press and Busca Inc.

Health and wellness:
Massages by Marlaine Darfler and Rasa Spa, a weekend retreat for two at Light on the Hill Foundation, a nutrition evaluation, spiritually oriented counseling, astrology reading, sessions with a chiropractor and a yoga instructor.

Food and wine:
A four-course gourmet dinner for four delivered to or cooked in your home by a CIA-trained chef; Brunch for two at Banfi's; German dessert class for six; Mother-daughter cooking class; Wine tasting for 10 in your home Tea tasting for 10 Tea gift basket Case of top-quality Finger Lakes wine.
